Enquiries and booking confirmation

Submitting an enquiry does not confirm or reserve a booking. Available dates and requested start times remain subject to Dover Moving’s explicit confirmation. We review access, inventory, special handling and any travel fee before confirming your booking.

Your Dedicated Move

The crew and truck assigned to your move are reserved for it, without another web booking before or afterwards that day. We specialise in residential house and apartment moves across Sydney.

Rates and minimum booking

Two professional movers and a truck cost $150/hr + GST. The three-hour minimum is $450 + GST. An additional mover costs $50/hr + GST: three movers and a truck cost $200/hr + GST, with a three-hour minimum of $600 + GST. After the minimum, time is billed in 10-minute increments. These minimum amounts are not an estimated total moving cost.

Call-out, inclusions and payment

We evaluate pickup and drop-off and apply the highest applicable call-out tier once: free, 30 minutes ($75 + GST), one hour ($150 + GST), or an individually confirmed travel fee for locations requiring review. We do not add two call-out fees. Tolls, where incurred, are additional.

Furniture protection, blankets, straps, trolleys, tools and assembly/disassembly are included within moving time. There is no stairs fee and no upfront payment. Payment is by bank transfer after completion. Applicable charges are disclosed before booking.

Special handling and changes

Please tell us about pianos, heavy items, large fridges, parking and difficult access. Contact us promptly if your details or requested date change. Any cancellation or rescheduling conditions will be provided before booking; this website does not introduce a cancellation charge.
